Video: Foundation Week at Elizabeth Seton School
Elizabeth Seton School celebrated Linggo ng Wika and the school's Foundation Day this week. Today we came in our filipino attire for a campus parade. Mommy and Daddy said they couldn't make it so I was really surprised to see them outside the classroom right before the parade! That was quite a nice surprise.
We were supposedly taking class pictures with our adviser, Miss Siony, but the grown-ups had trouble getting all of us to stay still!
We all brought food to share with the rest of the class for the KAMPISE. When we were done eating and with all the activities, I had a chance to check out the booths with Mom and Dad. They let me play several games and I won so many prizes! They didn't let me try the rides though because it was the middle of the day and it was so hot, plus I get to try different rides at the malls all the time so it was okay.
I loved this day! The only thing I didn't like about it is that I lost the transformers pencilcase Daddy got for me. It must have fallen out of my bag.

ESS Buwan Ng Wika - Adarna House Bookfair
We had a bookfair in school the entire week for the Buwan Ng Wika celebration. Last month it was Scholastics and now its from Adarna House. Mommy promised me last Monday that she would come to my school today so we can pick out some books for me but then I got myself into trouble this morning and Daddy said they wouldn't go anymore. Good thing they changed their minds later on and said yes after all.
They fetched me from school and we went to the book fair. Aside from the books we picked, I also asked them to buy me a compact english dictionary and a handy filipino-english/english-filipino dictionary so I wouldn't have to ask for translations all the time. It really comed in handy!

Cupcakes for Adopted School of ESS
Today we brought some cupcakes that the school would donate to the students from the school that we adopted. This was also in line with the upcoming Dugtong Buhay project. I love chocolate cupcakes myself and I often have a hard time controlling myself from finishing the whole batch!

Food for the Jhonies and Garies
Today was our section's turn to bring food for the Feed the Garies and Jhonies Program in school. Students could bring any type of food and drinks that would be distributed to the guards and janitors who work for the school. I brought sandwiches and juice. I hope they liked it!

Elizabeth Seton School, Here I Come!
At first I didn't want to transfer schools. Ann Arbor Montessori was very near our house and I had a lot of friends there. I hardly ever talk to my friends from PNOC-EDC Daycare Center anymore and I figured the same thing will happen. Mommy did a lot of research in the schools nearby and even on home schooling. She told me to keep an open mind and that she, Daddy and I would decide together. After seeing the website, visiting the campus, and all the convincing I changed my mind. I took the entrance examination right before Grandma arrived from the US and aced it!
Today was my first day to attend Elizabeth Seton School. Mommy, Daddy and Ate Cecille accompanied me to my classroom. I actually had a pretty good day. It was fun and exciting to meet new friends!
