One week went by so fast! Grandma is already leaving for the US again! Like what we got used to over the years, we took pictures in the garden before taking her to the airport. Goodbye, Grandma!

Video: Asian Eye Institute and Zaifu at Power Plant

I had my first official eye checkup a few days ago. Mom's doctor checked to make sure I didn't have what Mommy has YET or hopefulle EVER. So far I'm clear but I need to get yearly checkups to make sure. On the same day I had my checkup, Grandma and Mommy also went to another doctor, a low vision specialist, to get their new prescriptions.

Today we went back to Rockwell to bring Mommy's new eyeglasses so they could install the filter thing that she needs. Daddy brought it to AEI while we went ahead to Zaifu at the Power Plant Mall for some lunch. I didn't like japanese food before except maybe for tempura but they made me taste everything we ordered and surprisingly, I liked them all. I had ice cream for dessert before we left!

Kabisera ng Dencio's with Family

Today after finishing all the lakads we fetched Grandpa from his office and went straight to Kabisera ng Dencio's where we met with Lola Malou and Ninang Michelle. Grandma wanted to see her sister at least once before she left the country again. We all enjoyed the food and the dessert. The grown-ups chatted a lot. I just focused on the food! :D

Back to Ninang Beth

Grandma's been here for 4 days now. We spent everyday since Monday accompanying her to places so she could take care of all the documents that she needed to fix. I think we spent most of those days just inside the car in between stop-overs!

Today before all other errands we went back to Ninang Beth because Grandma had another appointment. She and mom wrestled over videotaping it again!

Grandma is Back! Christ the King, Abe in TriNoma, Ninang Beth

Early this morning we fetched Grandma at the airport. She'll be here for only a week and she has so many errands lined up! After resting for a bit and getting settled at home we left to go to church at SM Megamall but we missed the english mass and didn't really want to attend the chinese mass so we went to Christ the King Church in greenmeadows instead.

After church we went to Tomas Morato and Timog to look for a place to eat but it was so jampacked everywhere! There were lots of restaurants but the ones we liked had long lines. I guess that is the usual scene for Sunday lunch in Tomas Morato. We transferred to TriNoma and ate at Abe. It was also jampacked inside so we chose seats outside instead. The waiters even brought out a large aircon/fan for us!

Finally it was time to go to Ninang Beth. Grandma needed to have something done to her teeth. Mom was being makulit and trying to take pictures of her while she protested. :D

Welcome Home, Tita Leah!

I saw Tita Leah in person for the first time!

Well, not really... but I was too young to remember my Titas before they left the country. At least now I've seen 3 out of 5 in person!
