Other Godrics

Godric Gryffindor
One of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Godric Gryffindor hailed from a moor now known as Godric's Hollow. He had courage, determination and strength of heart above all other qualities. He was the most accomplished dueller of his time and an enlightened fighter against discrimination.

Godric from True Blood
A 2000 year old tattoo-covered vampire, Godric repented for his sins and met the sun to end his own torment. He evolved, surpassed his bloodthirsty nature, and didn't believe in abusing his power. He wanted peace for both human and vampire races and believed in personal improvement.

Saint Godric of Finchale
Born in Walpole in Norfolk, Saint Godric of Finchale died as an English hermit in Finchale in Durham. He was a Catholic saint best remembered for his kindness towards animals.
