Mongkok Again!

Mommy got a haircut at David's Salon in Santana Grove today. Leo, the guy who cut Mommy's hair said he saw us at Shopwise yesterday. He was looking for all my Titas and Mommy said he used to cut their hair when they were still here in the Philippines. Girls take longer than guys with their haircut even if Mommy only had a trim. I thought she was just waiting for Leo to cut her hair but it turns out, it was already done! She only made him cut the ends,

While waiting for Mommy, I just played inside and even asked if they had any magazine for boys because all the magazines were for girls. They didn't have any. When she was finally done, we went to Mongkok to get some Dimsum before going home. Mongkok again! Hehe.

We ordered Seaweed with Crabsticks, Lobster Roll, Century Egg Congee, Sliced Chicken Congee, Siopao and Siomai with Quail Eggs. Good thing they already have stock of the Siomai with Quail Eggs because last night they ran out and they didn't even tell us that we were waiting for nothing until Grandpa followed up when we were almost done eating! Food today was good but I like Manang's Chicken Arrozcaldo better than the Congees.

Mongkok Dimsum & Noodles at Santana Grove

We usually attend the 6:30 mass but today we went for the 5pm mass and then we went straight to Shopwise to do some grocery shopping.

We didn't want to go far anymore so we just went to Santana Grove for dinner. I wanted Serye again but I was outnumbered! We went to Mongkok Dimsum & Noodles which was also okay with me.

Grandpa's Peach something. I forgot what it was called!
It was the same drink he ordered last time so I guess he liked it.

I tried their Mango Sago and loved it but that's no surprise. :D

Lobster Roll

Beef / Tendon Rice

Spareribs with Taosi Rice

Brisket Wanton Noodle Soup

Everything tasted okay but it always feels like something is missing when we go to Chinese Restaurants without ordering my favorite Yang Chow Fried Rice. Maybe next time!

Latte Cheesecake which just tasted a lot like sugar. Lots of it.

Almond Jelly with Fruit Cocktail. LKinda like Fruit Salad.
This was better than the cheesecake.

I missed Daddy again because like last week, Tito Michael and Tito Alex came by this morning and fetched him. They had brotherly dates again! Oh, they also brought us pasalubong. I was waiting for them this weekend because we ran out of dalandan and sinturis last Friday. Yes, we finished all of that. We love fruit juice! I got in a little trouble because of their pasalubong this time. Hehe. The fruits weren't delivered yet when they left Batangas so they just brought a few kilos of dalandan. I thought it was for juicing and not for eating so I told Manang to squeeze them all up before we left the house. When we got back we had 2 pitchers of pure dalandan juice... and then Daddy came home and looked for the dalandan. Yikes! I thought it was for juicing! :D :D :D

Mongkok Dimsum and Noodles and Shopwise at Santana Grove

We went to mass at 6:30 pm today. That also gave Grandpa enough time to get some rest because he got home around 3am already. He also got stranded due to the storm. The church was also not as full as it usually is. I guess a lot of people are still not okay or are still afraid to leave their houses.

After mass, we went to Santana Grove for dinner. We went inside Tapa King but they didn't like the choices so we transferred to Monkok Dimsum and Noodles. I love chinese food so I was cool with that!

Siomai With Quail Eggs. I love it!

Lobster Rolls. I liked this too!

Seaweed with crabstick. I was afraid to taste this.

Fish Fillet with Taosi. This was also good!

Salt and Pepper Spareribs. This was my main dish. I loved it!

Yang Chow Friend Rice. You all know this is my favorite!

I ordered Strawberry Shake but it was out of stock so I chose the bottomless lemonade!

That meal was really filling! The only downside was that their mango was also out of stock so I didn't get to order my ultimate favorite, mango sago! That was okay though.

We went straight to Shopwise just across the street to do some grocery shopping before going home. I like doing this even when it's just me and Grandpa sometimes. He lets me get the items from the list and we also buy my weekly baon for school.

I was getting a little worried because it was already late and I still had to wake up early the next day because Elizabeth Seton School was having us go to an Exposure Trip at their South Campus. I guess that's it for now. Good night!

Serye Restaurant and Cafe at Santana Grove with Mommy and Grandpa for Grandparents' Day

Tito Michael and Tito Alex came by today. After we chatted for a bit, they left with Daddy. I guess they had a family bonding day too!

After the 6:30 PM mass we were trying to decide where to have dinner. Grandpa wanted KFC and I wanted Carlo's Pizza. We both argued that we've tried those places already so we were trying to think of a new place but we ended up at Santana Grove and picked Serye. Mommy and Grandpa have both been there but it was my first time!
As usual, I ordered ripe mango shake first! Yum!

Grandpa ordered Serye's Buko Shake!

Mommy was coughing while we were at church so she didn't order the usual bottomless drink and had warm bottled water instead.

We ordered Serye's boneless chicken barbecue, crab foo yung and ampalaya con carne. I was a bit hesitant to taste the others at first but I ended up liking all of them, even the ampalaya con carne! I actually loved that one.

We were all so full! We finished everything on the table and I made sure to help them out so we could have dessert. Well, I'm never too full for dessert! Grandpa told me it was okay to not finish my rice but I finished it anyway. He also said it was okay to not finish the beef from the ampalaya because he found it a bit makunat but I finished that too! Like I said, I loved their food!

And now, for my favorite part of every meal! I wanted to order mocha manila but they ran out so I chose the chocolate cake instead. That was a real good choice! It was super rich and it was perfect for me!

We also ordered New York Cheesecake. Both cakes tasted good together so I guess we chose the best combination!

We took some more pictures before finally leaving Serye!

For some reason, Mommy and Daddy both thought I had no class tomorrow. They thought it was already the 21st tomorrow! Aha! So that's why none of them stopped me from watching and playing the whole day! I got away with that! :D
